Exemplary representation: Reducing insert for brass screw connection, brass
Application examples: Mounting for reducing insert brass screw connection
Exemplary representation: Reducing insert for brass screw connection, brass
Temperature range:
-60°C up to max. +300°C (with seal: -20°C up to max. +80°C)
Recommended raw materials:
Copper, polyamide (with reinforced sleeve)
Note:
The brass compression ring screw connections cannot be combined with the cutting ring pipe screw connectors ISO 8434-1 (DIN 2353). When using soft copper tube a correction factor of 0.65 must be used (pressure x 0.65). When using polyamide tube the operating pressure of the tube applies.
Materials:
brass
Application:
With the use of reducing inserts you can use fittings with different hose diameters, e.g. a straight fitting with 10 mm Ø type KG 10 MS can be screwed together with 10 mm hose on the one hand. On the other hand, you can mount a 6 mm hose when using a reducing insert type KRED 106 MS. Thus, you have achieved a reduction from 10 to 6 mm. The reducing inserts can be used for all brass compression fittings. They consist of individual segments that separate from each other during assembly by means of predetermined breaking points.
All data are to be understood as non-binding reference values! We do not assume liability for any data selection not confirmed in writing. Unless otherwise specified, pressure values refer to liquids from Group II at +20°C.
